Basementgrid: The MCST OS — a platform built for how strata management actually works in Singapore.
We started this blog because most of what’s written about MCST management is either legal boilerplate or generic property advice. Not much of it reflects what council members, Managing Agents, Building Managers, and vendors actually deal with day-to-day — chasing paper trails, handling MA transitions, tracking defects during the DLP, or figuring out where the bylaws actually stand. This is where we write about that, plainly, based on what we’re hearing from people who run buildings.
Basementgrid itself exists to fix the operational side of the same problem: one shared system for work orders, asset compliance, defect tracking, and payments, with clear role separation between vendors and internal staff, and financial guardrails so councils aren’t caught off guard.
